On May 15, 2020, Roman Kusche passed the exam for the title Dr.-Ing. . Mr. Kusche has been a research assistant at the CoSA competence center since January 2020 and works there in the project Technologies for a healthy future (TGZ). Before that he worked as a research associate in the Laboratory for Medical Electronics (LME) at the TH Lübeck under the technical direction of Prof. Dr. Martin Ryschka. His doctoral thesis is titled "Mehrkanal-Bioimpedanz-Instrumentierung zur zeitaufgelösten Messung physiologischer Ereignisse".
The doctorate was carried out in cooperation with the Institute of Medical Technology (IMT) at the University of Lübeck, headed by Prof. Thorsten Buzug. Due to the current corona situation, the test was carried out in the form of a video conference.
In the traditional javelin throw, Mr. Kusche achieved a distance of 13.40 m. Thus, he increases the previous peak value of Dr.-Ing.Teubler by 32 cm.
