To record the production process several technologies are used. RFID-Tags are cheap and provide a wireless air interface to transmit and receive data. The data is forwarded to a database, where it is processed and evaluated on demand.


The goal of this project is to develop a cost-effective implementation for data collection of a coffee machine. The system detects automatically a cup that is equipped with a RFID tag and forwards the information to a database. In addition, completed tasks such as the cleaning of the coffee machine, etc. are manually entered on a terminal and send to the database.
