Performance Metrics for Indoor Positioning Systems

Many application scenarios require the estimation of positioning errors. The positioning error of indoor positioning systems is the difference between the ground truth and the estimated position. Performance metrics are used to compare estimated positions with the uncertainties of the measurements.
Goal of this work is the investigation of performance metrics with regard to the positioning error of positioning systems. The positioning error is to be statistically documented, evaluated and visualized.
